SAFE is always looking for volunteers. You can bring hope back to a person or family; SAFE has proven that one person does make a difference. Contact any of our board members if you would like to get involved.
Being a SAFE volunteer is not easy. It requires time, energy, and most of all, a big heart. But it's all worth it once a board member stands up at a board meeting and reads a letter from a recipient of SAFE. It is a note filled with emotions; the reader's voice stutters and cracks, there are tears and long pauses as they read. Then the tone of the note shifts from darkness and despair into calm as the recipient recaps how SAFE made a difference.
